The humidity cycle, and lighting can be adjusted to dial in the desired environment to grow a range of mushrooms or plants. Although there are more low-tech solutions, I think these turned out pretty cool and have a few advantages- one of them being that they can automatically provide misting / lighting for about a week before the water must be refilled.
