mush-O-sphere - HANGING IT UP To prepare the kit to hang, slightly loosen the zip-tie on the top of the frame. After the zip-tie is loosened, the hanging wire can be threaded through as shown. You may decide to tie another knot in the hanging cable to adjust the hanging distance of the kit, effectively shortening the length. If you decide to tie a new knot, you can coil up the excess or simply cut it with wire clippers or similar. If you plan to hang the kit in sheetrock/plaster you can use the provided drywall hanger. A 3/16" drill bit seemed to work for me, a bit size slightly larger may be better, though it’s good to start small and move up in size.. always good to start small and move up in size, if in doubt :) If it's too tight to push in by hand, lightly tap the drywall hanger at a perpendicular angle with a mallet or hammer to push it in flush. Hand screw the hook into the drywall hanger. You might want to give it a light tug to make sure it's secure, and you're ready to hang :) If available screwing into straight wood is best - I like to use a small drill bit ( like a 1/16" ) to make a pilot hole that helps the hook screw in a bit easier. <— back to the details and instructions
